Dear Beacons of Love & Light…Powerful Creators,
2009 is stretched before us like an untouched meadow with freshly fallen snow. We cross the threshold into an eleven year—a master number filled with illumination—illuminating that which must go. All will be brought to the Light and be magnified. This is the year of turning dreams into reality and the more people who benefit from those dreams, the more successful we become. The unseen momentum will guide and encourage us. Be alert, however, to any struggle or conflict may be the universe telling us to change direction. Release resistance—a thing of the past. Fears and insecurities from childhood will fall away as you begin to realize the lessons and directions in our dreams. Synchronicity and flowing experiences is what 2009 brings. Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron and the North Node are clustered in Aquarius, changing the emphasis from the individual to the Community and “We the People.”
In this 11 year many of us will vibrate higher and step into our shoes of mastery. This year we will know the importance of action rather than reaction. We are co-creating our new lives with observation, response-ability and account-ability. Tension and frustrations need to be released—held back, could result in volcanic activity. Watch the Purging and Purification as the falseness of both society and individual s come to surface, release and dissolve to insure our global shift.
The two retrograde cycles of Saturn (Dec 31-whole month) and Mercury (Jan11-31) remind us that Winter is Kidney Season and gives us the opportunity to care for this vital organ. The Lung is the parent of the Kidney and the Liver, its child. The energy of the kidney is the body’s resource of energy. It stores the essence of life: both inherited and acquired, regulates the water metabolism, controls the lung function of descending energy and the Spleen’s transforming energy for our body’s use. The deficiency of kidney will directly cause a deficiency of all four other vital organs (liver, spleen, lung and heart). So be sure to keep your kidney energy balanced—get enough rest, eat properly, exercise and meditate. The kidney responds well to a strong immune system, the color black (wearing it and eating it..black beans, black sesame seeds, black pasta with shellfish and walnuts). Wind weakens the liver and therefore could weaken the kidney. A good time to keep your qi “in” and keep building and balancing your storehouse (saving account) of qi. Watch the squirrels scurrying in the park to save and preserve their stash for winter. Our body’s qi that is not used is stored within our bone marrow, making our skeletal structure, teeth and hair strong. In ancient times, people would use the bones of energy masters in construction because they could outlast hickory sticks, they were so sturdy and strong--dense with qi. When Kidney energy wanes, there usually is a audible ring in the ears, knees & lower back discomfort and weak teeth and sore feet—especially through the instep and heel. Fear is the emotion of the kidney, so don’t allow yourself to be frightened and stop scaring yourself. If you are grounded and centered in the heart center, the emotions fear (kidney), anger (liver), Joy (heart), overthinking/worry (Spleen), and Grief (Lung) will balance. Use these retrograde cycles wisely and bump up the immune system to a new level. Your example will have a lasting influence on global consciousness.
January 5/6th, Jupiter in Aquarius opens the door to new creative ways to re-design ourselves by exploring options, opportunities and possibilities. This shift will be especially felt by the sensation of no longer being a victim and allowing our Divine Self to be in the pilot’s seat. If you have not yet witnessed your divine gifts and path, you will come to understand them with this fortuitous alignment. If changes need to be executed, they will happen on Jan 26th with the magical Solar Eclipse.
Mercury in retrograde will open the doorway to patience, evaluation and re-evaluation. Maintain flexibility because new ideas can shine new Light on new directions. Leave travel plans and new projects to hold off until February 1st.
On January 11, the Full Moon graces our sky reminding us to be open for change. Venus and Uranus chime in to encourage change and not allow laziness to kick back in. Become aware of your passed heart wounds. Focus on their healing so old experiences will not taint future joys. Looking at new relationships through old hurtful relationships never did anyone any good. Let go of the hurt and allow the Light to enter old wounds.
Let us focus on serving the Highest Good and remember that we are too blessed to be stressed and too annointed to be disappointed. Keep eyes to the skies and attention to underground temples. Be the change we envision.
Happy New Year to All
In Joy
