To Those Who Keep the Clarity---
My brother Carl and I were “thick as thieves” growing up and I remember wandering away from family and friends at a summer picnic to explore the woods of Bear Mountain. After a half hour or so, Carl announced, “I think we are really lost this time!” And, in character, I replied, “That’s ridiculous. We are not lost. We know exactly where we are--We just don’t know where everybody else is !”
This Taoist comment, colored by innocence, is a reflection to clearly see our paths traveling over rocky roads or smooth patches--it doesn’t matter. Life now is unfolding like a new exciting adventure, knowing whatever comes, we are WHOLE and can deal with situations in a balanced way. Yes, earthly rumblings (in all senses of the phrase ) can cause emotional upheaval. We know our liver controls the flow of blood, emotions and Qi. So we want to keep the liver running smoothly especially as we approach Fall (Lung Season). Meditate, choose to eat vegetarian or lighter essence foods. Don’t waste qi eating heavy foods. Learn to restore, rebalance and increase your qi to keep an even keel. “It’s time to turn the page” as someone we know eloquently stated this past week.. Turn the page and see life differently. Approach new experiences with an open heart and that results from a balanced harmonious organ system.
When we peak at the stars this month and glimpse at the doors they open, we learn that September 2010 begins with Mars and Venus in the sky--the essence of male and female coming together to strengthen character, indeed the yin/yang balance of our lives. It is now easier to feel a part of the Universal Whole of All That Is. We are part of the evolving, growing, ever changing miracles of life. Take time to observe (Krishnamurti) Nature evolve, as summer eclipses into Fall and days (daze) re-balance themselves with night. Of course on the Autumnal Equinox, September 22 at 11:09 pm, they will be of equal length. Instead of balancing eggs, throw a few (in nature please or throw them into a large garbage can) and eliminate time ignored anger that has built up.
During this month, Chiron is higher than Pluto in the sky, allowing our Creative endeavors to soar and our well planned spiritual intentions to totally manifest.
Now that pen and paper make me think about it...when harvest time is complete, and the sun starts to set earlier, it”s a time to grow by tuning inward and return to reading and studying. At 58, I still feel that wave of excitement that school is starting. Hmmmm...maybe I will offer lots of classes this month--stay tuned.
Water signs come to the forefront on September 8th, when Venus enters Scorpio and then the next day (9/9), Jupiter goes back to Pisces. Emotions can flair and we undoubtedly remember that Shift Happens. Fore warned is fore armed--eat lightly and don’t waste you “checking account” of energy. Mercury finally goes direct on the 12th. Transformation abounds on September 14 when Pluto takes on a stationary position in the sky. Challenges and upheavals remind us to stay centered and hold our ground. See what we can uncover as things change.
Venus travels higher among the stars than Pluto which adds wind to our backs--so be sure you are facing the right direction with the best intention. A good time to be so grounded that you can help others. Stuart Wilde in one of my all time favorite books, Infinite Self, shares his concept of Highway 33--you know: the path to get us from the earth bound 3D ‘tick tock world’ to the Higher Dimensions of Spirit. This time will allow us to help many brothers and sisters to Highway 33 and be catalytic to their paths.
September 19, the Jupiter and Uranus connection brings us blessings from everywhere and anywhere. Knowledge transforms to wisdom. Courses taken evolve into Spiritual Intention.
After we enter the sign of Libra on September 23rd, it’s the Moon’s turn to cross the equator and fly high--higher than Pluto. Be advised feelings trump will.
Through it all HOLD OUR VISION. We know what we want and our new capacities will continue to captivate our attention.
